Delete your Sweeet account

You can delete your Sweeet account, and the data linked to it, at any time. It's free, and it can't be undone.
In the app
- Open Sweeet and sign in.
- Tap the round account button at the top right (your photo or initial).
- Tap Settings, then Delete my account.
- Type DELETE and tap Delete my account for good.
Your account is deleted straight away.
No longer have the app?
Email hello@sweeet.co.nz from the email address you sign in with, and ask us to delete your account. We'll delete it and email you to confirm within 20 working days.
What we delete straight away
- Your profile, name and photo.
- All your listings and their photos.
- Your saved vehicles.
- Your chats and messages (they disappear for the other person too).
- People you have blocked.
- Notifications on your phones.
- Your login. You can join again later with the same email, starting fresh.
What we keep for a while, for safety and legal reasons
- Reports other people made about you, with the evidence attached (such as a reported message), for up to 12 months after the report is closed. This helps us stop scams.
- Reports you made stay, but are no longer linked to you.
- If your account was banned, a record of the ban for up to 2 years.
- Records of plate lookups, no longer linked to you, for up to 13 months.
- Our database provider's backups, which are overwritten within a few days.
Delete some data without deleting your account
- Delete a listing: Account, then My listings, then Delete under the listing.
- Remove a saved vehicle: Account, then Saved.
- Delete one of your messages: press and hold it in the chat.
- Stop notifications: Account, then Notifications.
